Drives are conducted in an open safari vehicle and traditionally
takes place in the early mornings and late afternoons.
Walks are conducted by experienced guides and it is a thrilling experience to see the Big 5 on foot.
It is also the best way to experience
the smaller delights that nature has to offer.
The Madikwe Conservancy has approximately 10km of
exclusive river frontage, so come try your hand
at fishing in the Marico river.
We have two photographic hides, set at different waterholes. This offers the nature photographer a diversity of photographic opportunities and our in-house photographic
guide is at hand to assist and tutor.
Our community development initiatives go hand in hand with how Madikwe Hillhouse and Madikwe Game Reserve operate.
Should you wish, you may request a visit to one of the local villages where you will be welcomed into the day-to-day activities of a rural village.
